New Repeater info

The new repeater collection has ended, a new Icom repeater purchased (thanks to Paul, K5ODR, at a very good price!) and installed (Again thanks to Paul with some help from James).
It has been on the air for several months and is doing an outstanding job! It has better “ears” than any I’ve seen and excellent tone quality.
This machine replaces the old 145.190 Master II at the Victoria Television Group tower on the Upper Mission Valley Road. The antenna is at 400 feet, giving excellent coverage throughout Victoria and surrounding counties.

Location: 400 ft. up on the Victoria Television Group 1,000 ft. tower, located on the Upper Mission Valley Road.
Frequency: 145.190 MHz, negative offset, 103.5 Hz tone.

Survey – ARRL Club Affiliation

The ARRL Programs and Services Committee is studying current benefits of
ARRL Club Affiliation.  We are interested in learning which benefits are
important to affiliated clubs and what potential benefits affiliated clubs
would like to see in the future.   To that end, we’ve put together a survey
to learn what benefits are being used; their importance and to get an idea
of potential future benefits.   The survey is open to all current club
officers, past officers and club members.

The survey is located at: http://www.bestvote.org/phpQ/fillsurvey.php?sid=31
and is open to May 20th.

Thank you,
ARRL Programs and Services Committee
