Survey – ARRL Club Affiliation
The ARRL Programs and Services Committee is studying current benefits of
ARRL Club Affiliation. We are interested in learning which benefits are
important to affiliated clubs and what potential benefits affiliated clubs
would like to see in the future. To that end, we’ve put together a survey
to learn what benefits are being used; their importance and to get an idea
of potential future benefits. The survey is open to all current club
officers, past officers and club members.
The survey is located at: http://www.bestvote.org/phpQ/fillsurvey.php?sid=31
and is open to May 20th.
Thank you,
ARRL Programs and Services Committee

HSMM-MESH
HSMM is a mode communication which uses WRT54G routers flashed with the HSMM-MESH software. Todate WA5VBP has 5, KF5HHC has 3, and WB5MCT has 3 (or more).
I have VOIP, VIDEO, and FTP working. By connecting a cat 5 cable between one HSMM routers and the internet all users on the MESH can have access to the internet.
When a regular AP router is connected into the MESH, WIFI can be provided and such things as an Iphone can be configured to make call into the VOIP network.
We are forming a group of HSMM users to put together a plan to setup a HSMM-MESH across the city. The group members are WB5MCT, KF5HHC, and WA5VBP. So for we have permission to put nodes at both DeTars hospitals, Citizens, Red Cross, and EOC. The biggest expense are omni directional antennas.
This system was tested at the Outdoor Expo. Video and voip worked great.
This is my first post. Testing the website
